Event Description: Panel Discussion on “Diversity and Women Leadership” will be an interactive session with our female students and women leaders which aims to support women and accelerate the process of gender equality and women’s empowerment by building awareness of the potential of women-developed innovation; identifying key barriers to the advancement of women in the fields of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship; and working collaboratively to identify and address such barriers at an industry-wide level.

Design Thinking is a mindset backed by a suite of tools that gives us a powerful new way to solve problems and unlock potential. It complements our existing approaches by focusing on understanding the human side of things — what our technology is and what that technology means to you and to your customers. In this is workshop the participants will be able to gain understanding of how they can take advantage of Design Thinking to work in their teams and develop solutions best suited for a particular persona. They will an understanding of the all the processes involved in a Design Thinking process; right from “Understanding the problem” to “creating a prototype”.
